Another Robin makes it to June’s Picture of the Month! I did not take many pictures in June but this little robin was an instant favourite!
Taken at 1/320s, f/6.3, ISO 800 at a focal length of ISO 800.
On Sunday, I was one of millions of people who watched Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal delight the Centre Court crowd with a display of some of the greatest tennis ever played! I was also fortunate enough to have a Centre Court ticket!
The match had everything, great serving, fantastic rallies, break points taken, break points saved, a close tie break, championship points saved, a 16 game final set….. and if you throw in some typical Wimbledon rain delays and failing light, you have the perfect recipe for first class Centre Court drama!
After 4 hours and 48 minutes, spread across 6 hours and 40 minutes, Rafael Nadal ended Roger Federer’s 5 year winning streak at Wimbledon with a 6-4 6-4 6-7(5) 6-7(8) 9-7 victory.
