A few minutes drive from my place of work is the beautiful town of Rye on Route 1A. I often head down there on my lunch breaks and after work. Tonight was very mild so we drove to Rye Harbor and stopped off to take some pictures. I was minus my tripod and polarizing filter (replacement is due in the mail any day now) but got a few shots handheld before we went to nearby Peteys for a lobster roll!
If the weather cooperates and my beloved polarizer arrives, I will head to Rye and nearby Wallis Sands next week to take some more photos.

Beautiful! I feel like my photos pale in comparison, but I was there in the middle of the day and you were there at sunset, so I guess I shouldn’t feel bad
Have you been to any of the beaches in Maine? I went to Ogunquit and Wells last week, it was really lovely.
Your photos are really good. I was lucky enough to arrive at the right time when the light was good. The sun made things look golden.
I have been to Ogunquit and York. Both are beautiful. Have not been to Wells yet but it is on my list now
