We were passing by the entrance to the Pease Golf Club yesterday and saw this bird at the side of the road. I pulled into the Bus Terminal car park and got a shot with my 70-300mm.

The USS Carter Hall arrived at Portsmouth a few days ago to pick up a decommissioned submarine to take to the Puget Sound region of Washington state. I headed down to Prescott Park at lunch to take some photos/video.

This weekend we took a halloween getaway to the Great North Woods. On our previous three trips to the region we had seen moose but this time it was not to be! They must have known I had a new camera, or maybe they are smarter than we think and were laying low until hunting season ends? Nevertheless we had a nice time and still got to take some good photos.
