This weekend we took a halloween getaway to the Great North Woods. On our previous three trips to the region we had seen moose but this time it was not to be! They must have known I had a new camera, or maybe they are smarter than we think and were laying low until hunting season ends? Nevertheless we had a nice time and still got to take some good photos.

Our next trip to the Great North Woods will probably be next year now when the moose become active again.
